Scotties Get Swept By Tornadoes, 7-2

Tri-Valley fell to West Muskingum 7-2 for their 10th loss of season. The Scotties took a 1-0 lead in but the Tornadoes would score 5 in the fourth off of back to back doubles to take a 5-0 lead. Tri-Valley would add one in the 7th as Tyler McGee scored off a wild pitch, but the 5 run deficit would prove to be to much for the Scotties. Tri-Valley falls to 6-10 on the season.
5 Run Fourth Sends Tri-Valley Past Crooksville 6-2

A 5 run fifth inning sent Tri-Valley past Crooksville for a 6-2 win and the Scotties 8th win of the season. The Dawgs loaded the bases in the the fourth and Tyler McGee brought them all home with a 3 run double, and McGee later scored on an error. Bryce farmer capped off the 5 run fifth with an RBI single to make it 6-0. The Ceramics tried to get back into the game with a bases loaded two run single in the top of the seventh but the Scotties would close it out with a pop up with the bases loaded. Austin Redman earned the win, giving up 2 unearned runs with 2 hits and 9 strikeouts in 6 2/3 innings.
Dawgs Unable to Stop Muskies in 12-0 Loss

Tri-Valley couldn't muster up enough offense to challenge league-leader John Glenn as they dropped a 12-0 contest at home.
Scotties Use Strong 2nd Inning to Push Past Maysville, 7-4

Tri-Valley (4-4) knocked in 6 runs with 2 outs in the 2nd to give them the edge over host Maysville in a 7-4 win. Sophomore pitcher Ryan Rider struggled in the first, giving up 3 runs, but the Dawgs responded emphatically the next inning. Rider picked up steam as the game went on as he ended with 9 strikeouts. Junior Tyler McGee and Sophomore Bryce Farmer both drove in 2 runs to help the cause.
