Schweitzer Leads Watterson Past Bradley 56-46 in OT
February 11, 2016
Watterson's defense stifled Bradley late in the game to hand the Jags a 56-46 defeat in overtime. Behind the strong play of the sophomore duo Isaiah Speelman and Braden Norris, Bradley led throughout the first 2 1/2 quarters. The Eagles' Michael Schweitzer was not to be denied though, hurting Bradley in the paint and from deep all night. A mixture of poor shooting and strong defense by Watterson, Bradley scored just 9 points in the final 15:40 of game time. Schweitzer had a game-high 29 points.
