Lakewood Earns Gutsy OT Win Over Granville, 44-42

Lakewood freshman Cameron Brooks came up big for the Lancers in their 44-42 overtime win over LCL foe Granville. With 9 seconds left in OT, Brooks came down with a rebound during the Blue Aces final shot and made the back end of a 1-and-1 to give the Lancers a two point lead. The freshman then forced a steal on Granville's final possession to seal the victory for Lakewood. In the low scoring affair, Senior guard Reece Dupler led all scorers with 27 points. Lakewood is still in the hunt for a LCL championship, trailing the leaders by only 2 games with four games remaining, including a matchup against league-leading Johnstown on Friday the 13th.
