New Albany Ousts Hayes, 69-63, in Double Overtime

New Albany claimed sole possession of 1st place in the OCC-Capital with a 69-63 double overtime win over rival Hayes. With countless momentum shifts, New Albany took the definitive upper hand late in the 2nd overtime off a BJ Duling "and-1" and proceeded to make their free throws while Hayes' shots went off target. The win splits the season series and gives the Eagles (14-3, 9-1) a 1-game advantage on Hayes and Olentangy for the league title. Sophomore BJ Duling and senior Chris London scored 26 points and 20, respectively, to lead the Eagles to victory.
