Fox Leads Generals to 46-42 Victory over Fairfield Union

Sheridan senior Luke Fox was unstoppable in the Generals' 46-42 win over Fairfield Union to open tournament play. The 6th-seeded Falcons stayed within striking distance of the 3rd-seeded Generals throughout the night, but it was Fox's tenacity and 24 points that kept Sheridan in front. Up 43-41 with a minute remaining, the Generals made enough free throws and forced Falcon turnovers to seal the win. Sheridan (15-7) takes on #2 Athens (20-2) on Friday, February 27th in the Sectional Final.
