Sheridan Falls Short to Vinton County, 61-52

Sheridan couldn't stay in good shooting grooves and failed to stop Vinton County's Jordan Albright, resulting in a 61-52 loss to end their season. The Generals (#6 seed) took a 16-12 lead into the 2nd quarter but Albright and the Vikings (#3) hunkered down defensively and began to find their rhythm offensively to pull ahead just before halftime and never look back. Sheridan trimmed the lead to 2 late in the 4th but couldn't inch closer as the Vikings made their FTs to close the door on a comeback. Clay Fisher, Ethan Heller, and Dylan Dupler combined for 36 points to lead the Generals charge. Sheridan finishes their 2015-16 campaign at 13-10.
