Sheridan Drops Heartbreaker to Athens, 58-57

Sheridan's season came to a heartbreaking end in a 58-57 loss to Athens. Griffin Lutz laid in the game winning basket for the Bulldogs with 4.8 seconds remaining and Ethan Heller's attempt at the buzzer was off the mark. Heller led the Generals with 14 points and Grant Heileman added 12 as Sheridan finished with a 16-7 record. Mickey Cozart had 22 points for Athens who advances to face Miami Trace.
