Westerville Central Basketball 2015 DVD Trailer June 10, 2015 A year removed from the District Finals, Westerville Central experienced a rebuilding year. Throughout the season, the squad saw different players across all grades leading the way in various games: seniors Anthony Arnold and Braylen Thomas, juniors Erron James and Will Maynus, and freshman Thomas Hickman. The Warhawks were often able to excite by lighting it up from beyond the arc and throwing down a fair share of dunks. Despite an unexpected 4-19 season, the Warhawks displayed promise with rising stars in Maynus, James, and Hickman. James and Maynus were selected as Special Mention All-OCC while Arnold was an Honorable Mention All-OCC. The Warhawks graduate seniors Arnold, Thomas, Hunter Todd, Ashton Sellers, and Ben Cooper. Newark Knocks Out Westerville Central, 64-49 March 9, 2015 Newark held off a determined Westerville Central squad, 64-49. Newark raced out to an early 10 point lead, but the Warhawks scratched their way back into the game to tie it at 19 halfway through the second quarter. The Wildcats found their rhythm as Jordan Dartis pumped in 25 points in the win. The Warhawks' Will Maynus and Anthony Arnold dropped 16 points a piece. Newark will face Zanesville at Pickerington North on March 11 at 7pm in the District Semifinal.

Hartley Spoils Westerville Central's Senior Night in 52-37 Contest February 25, 2015 Hosting Bishop Hartley on senior night, Westerville Central was unable to contain the Hawks' late push in a 52-37 loss. Up 22-20 at halftime, the Warhawks couldn't capitalize on momentum gained in the first half. Hartley went on a 15-0 run to end the third quarter and wouldn't relinquish the lead in the fourth. Junior Erron James led the Warhawks (4-17, 2-12) with 13 points while Hartley sophomore Terrell Crowder paced the Hawks with 12 points.

Scioto Stuns Westerville Central 54-51 After Pothoven Game-Winner February 4, 2015 Scioto won a thriller 54-51 over Westerville Central on a buzzer-beater by junior Nick Pothoven. Scioto only had .6 seconds to get off the shot that rattled around before falling in to give the Irish the victory. Scioto (6-9, 3-5) went 8-11 from 3-point range, and was led Jason Greiwe with 12. Central (2-12, 0-8) was led by Erron James with 14.
