Big Second Half Propels Victorious Pirates September 16, 2020 • Garrett Newsome had a pair of touchdown runs and Ethan Miller also scored in the second half to send Garaway past Indian Valley, 34-19. • Newsome had 291 total yards and accounted for three scores. He ran for 164 yards and threw for 127 and a score on 9-of-19 passing. • Jeffrey Fehr made three catches for 57 yards, J.D. Young hauled in a 17-yard TD pass and Logan Yoder had an 87-yard kickoff return for a score to go with 6.5 tackles to highlight the Garaway effort.

Mustangs Fail To Contain Pirates September 9, 2020 • Garaway scored 48 unanswered points to roll through Claymont 48-6. • Garrett Newsome completed 29 of 40 passes for 334 yards with three touchdowns and ran for 54 yards and two scores on eight carries to highlight the Pirates’ offensive explosion. • Three players had at least seven receptions. Jaydon Miller led Garaway with eight catches for 119 yards and two scores, Zack Bickford chipped in nine catches for 85 yards with a TD and Jeffery Fehr hauled in seven passes for 76 yards.

Newsome Sparks Pirates to Season-Opening Victory, 35-0 September 2, 2020 • The Pirates scored 21 points in the first half to pull away early and shut down East Canton in season opener, 35-0. • Newsome was 19 of 27 for 255 yards with three scores and needed only 10 carries to run for 174 yards and two TDs to highlight the victory. • Jaydon Miller hauled in five passes for 104 yards and two TDs, Zack Bickford made a team-high seven receptions for 84 yards and a score, while Garrett Hershberger led a stout defense with eight tackles and Ethan Miller added 4.5 tackles for a loss.

Summer Sessions | Garaway Football 2020 August 19, 2020 It's almost game time in Sugarcreek! With the season on the horizon, Garaway is getting their final summer reps in. The Pirates look to be a force in the IVC South once again and build off of their 9-3 finish in 2019.
