Hail Mary TD Stuns Aces, Hands Panthers victory

∙ Cameron Parmer’s game-winning, 39-yard scoring strike to Denali Harris came as time expired, sent Licking Valley past Granville 24-22.
∙ Parmer finished 10 of 17 for 171 yards with two touchdowns and added 73 yards and a score on the ground, while Harris had three receptions for 98 yards, including two on the final drive to cover the 80 yards.
∙ Blake Rine nearly willed the Blue Aces to the comeback win, leading the team to 20 straight points after trailing 12-0. He completed 7 of 12 passes for 167 yards with a TD and Keshawn Bonner had five receptions for 80 yards and added a 6-yard rushing score.
Blue Aces Lean on Defense, Shut Down Blue Devils 15-7

• Granville limited Zanesville to 34 total yards in the second half and Caden McDermott hauled in a deflected ball for the go-ahead TD in the third quarter of a 15-7 victory.
• Carsyn Crouch passed for 184 yards with a TD, Keshawn Bonner caught seven passes for 113 yards and Devon Haley ran 19 times for 61 yards and a score to lead the Blue Aces’ offense in Coach Schroeder's first win with the program.
• Jordan Martin churned up 63 yards on 13 carries and Garret Biedenbach made 11 tackles to highlight the Blue Devils’ effort.
Tigers Edge Blue Aces on Late Touchdown, 36-35

• Granville saw a 35-23 fourth-quarter lead disappear as Waverly scored two fourth-quarter touchdowns, including the game-winner with 10 seconds left in a 36-35 victory.
• Carsyn Crouch completed 12 passes for 206 yards with three touchdowns, including two scoring strikes to Keshawn Bonner, who had six receptions for 112 yards, to lead the Blue Aces.
• Devon Haley ran for 112 yards while Miles Eckenrode and Christian Hilton caught TD passes and Matt Chaykowski intercepted two passes to also highlight the Granville effort.
Granville Shines At Newark In Final Scrimmage

Granville had no problems in their scrimmage at Newark. Carsyn Crouch and Keshawn Bonner connected on FOUR touchdowns in the friendly preseason tune-up.
It was a test that should have the Blue Aces feeling good as they begin the regular season with a long trip down to Waverly this upcoming Friday.
