New Albany's Regional Title Hopes Dashed by Perry, 17-6 November 23, 2016 Perry (#1) limited New Albany (#3) to just 140 yards and one score to knock out the Eagles, 17-6, in the D-II, Region 7 Final. Akil Stokes put New Albany on the board with an 8-yd scamper to the outside early in the 4th. Perry would proceed to bleed 7+ minutes off the clock and score with 4:20 remaining to finish off the Eagles' memorable season. After their 1-3 start, New Albany finishes with a 9-4 record and regional runner-up trophy.

Eagles Knock Out Irish 31-7 to Reach Regional Final November 16, 2016 New Albany won its 8th straight game to knock Scioto out of the playoffs, 31-7. The Eagles scored 14 points off Irish turnovers and out gained them 334-129 to advance to the Regional Final. New Albany will face their toughest challenge yet in 2015 state finalist Massillon Perry this Friday at Mansfield HS.

New Albany Rolls Past West, 31-0 November 9, 2016 West might have dominated the time of possession, but New Albany dominated the scoreboard, advancing to the Region 7 semifinal by a score of 31-0. The Cowboys had the ball over twice as long as the Eagles, but the NA defense kept them off the board. Davey Chamberlain returned a blocked punt 48 yards, Brandon DeHass had two rushing touchdowns, and New Albany advances to face Dublin Scioto.

New Albany Outlasts Groveport, 35-28 November 2, 2016 New Albany is officially outright OCC-Capital CHAMPIONS! Brandon DeHass and Zach Hall each scored twice for the Eagles who edged Groveport-Madison, 35-28.
