In their first trip to the State Semis, Liberty went down swinging to 11-time champion St. Ignatius, 24-14. Down 14-0, the Patriots' defense exploded in the 2nd half, holding the Wildcats to -7 yards on their first 5 drives before QB Pat Ryan sprinted 69 yards for a touchdown. Liberty's Brendon White would connect with Drew Rosi for a late score, but the Patriots couldn't finish the comeback as their season came to an end at 13-1.
