Goal Line Stand Lifts Liberty Over Upper Arlington 21-14 September 15, 2020 • The Olentangy Liberty defense secured the 21-14 win over Upper Arlington Friday night as they held the Golden Bears out of the endzone as time expired. • Upper Arlington drove the ball deep into the Patriots territory in the final seconds of the fourth quarter but failed to score as the Golden Bears fall to 1-2. • Liberty's Aidan Kenley scored all three of the Patriots touchdowns as the running back finished with 165 rushing yards in the win. For UA, Carson Gresock averaged 6.8 yards per carry, lifted by a 75-yard rushing score.

Golden Bears Play Keep Away To Down Jaguars 7-6 September 9, 2020 ∙ Upper Arlington held the ball for more than 35 minutes and ran for 184 yards on 44 carries in Coach Justin Buttermore's first victory with the Golden Bears. ∙ Carson Gresock dove in from a yard out for a touchdown in the first quarter for the Golden Bears. He helped make it stand with 172 yards on 37 carries. ∙ Simon Monnin threw for 83 yards, while Carter Brock and Michael Ballenger led the UA defense, combining for 12.5 tackles, four tackles for a loss and three sacks.

Ross Carries Warhawks Past Golden Bears, 20-13 September 2, 2020 ∙ Michael Ross churned up 154 yards on 25 carries and scored three times in Westerville Central’s 28-23 victory over Upper Arlington. ∙ Judah Holtzclaw went 19 of 25 for 134 yards and added a 15-yard TD run, Luke Swaney made a team-high eight receptions for 65 yards and Jason Robertson had six catches for 42 yards to highlight the Central effort. ∙ Carson Gresock ran 30 times for 160 yards with a score and caught a 20-yard TD reception to lead Upper Arlington. Simon Minnon threw for 142 yards, Chris Mazzaferri and Christopher Reynolds combined for 10 receptions and 108 yards and Carter Brock made 12 tackles.
