Zanesville Football 2014 DVD Trailer December 3, 2014 Coming off a historic 2013 season, the 2014 Blue Devils aimed to make their own history and not miss a beat. Losing virtually every starter on both sides, Zanesville fought every game to the finish but was only able to earn a 5-5 season, just missing out on the playoffs. While this batch of Blue Devils weren't able to have the season they desired, they impressively racked up great wins against rivals Newark and Logan along with winning their final 3 games of the season. Statistically, the team was led by a strong rushing effort featuring 1,000 yard rusher, senior Jeremiah Jones.

Zanesville Wins 3rd Straight to Close Season, Beats Marietta 49-6 November 5, 2014 The season didn't start the way Zanesville would have liked, but it couldn't have ended much better. In the season finale, the Blue Devils dominated visiting Marietta 49-6 for their third consecutive victory, allowing them to end the year 5-5 overall. The run game was the deciding factor against the Tigers as ZHS totaled 454 rushing yards with senior Jeremiah Jones leading the way with 222 of those yards.

Blue Devils Bounce River View 56-0 October 29, 2014 After a slow start, Zanesville put its focus on finishing strong. So far the Blue Devils are on their way. In week nine, ZHS crushed host River View 56-0 to win its second game in a row. Their 298 yards of total offense was more than enough to improve to 4-5 overall and 2-2 in the ECOL. Zanesville will host Marietta in week 10 in hopes of ending the season .500.

QB Grandstaff Returns, Lifts Zanesville Past Logan 24-14 October 22, 2014 The Blue Devils were firing on all cylinders in week eight against old rival Logan en route to the 24-14 win. Quarterback Derek Grandstaff returned from injury and threw for 157 yards and 3 TD's. Olajuwon Pettiford was the main target with 96 receiving yards and 2 TD's. The Blue Devils run game was also a major factor with Jeremiah Jones running for 176 yards on 27 attempts. Zanesville (3-5) travels to River View (0-8) for a week nine matchup.
