Zanesville Outlasts Rival Tri-Valley In Slugfest 10-7

The heated rivalry came down to the closing minutes, but host Zanesville held onto the 10-7 win over MVL powerhouse Tri-Valley in week four. Both teams came into the game undefeated and with stout defenses— they didn't disappoint. The Blue Devils (4-0) limited the Scotties to 214 total yards, while Leondre Crosby racked up 120 yards rushing for the winners. Aaron Ashby's 22-yard field goal with 11:18 left in the game proved to be the game-winner. The two teams have alternated wins the last three seasons.
