Gahanna Rolls Newark, 77-59

With two starters sidelined due to sickness, Gahanna rose to the challenge to drop rival Newark, 77-59. Neck and neck for the first 10 minutes, the Lions used a 15-3 run to push them past the 'Cats. Senior role players Kevin Smith and Jack Kauffman powered the rout as Smith drilled 7 triples and Kauffman provided 10 points off the bench. Regular standouts Nick Ward and Junior Arrey totaled 22 and 20 points, respectively. For the 7th straight game, BJ Duling led in scoring for Newark. He tallied 21 points in the loss.
