Meadowbrook Falls In Regional Tournament To Vinton County, 62-54

Meadowbrook's tournament run has come to an end after losing to Vinton County in the Regional Semifinals, 62-54. Even though the Colts won't be moving on, they still have a lot to be proud of this year as they repeated as both ECOL and OVAC Champs and tied the school record for most wins in a season. The Vikings will play Eastmoor Academy for a Regional Championship next.
Meadowbrook Claims District Title, Beats John Glenn 58-47

The Meadowbrook Colts are district champs! John Glenn put up a fight before the Colts pulled away late for a 58-47 victory! The Muskies only trailed by three entering the 4th quarter, but Meadowbrook connected on 15/16 free throws in the closing minutes to seal the deal. John Glenn finished the season with a 19-8 record. The Colts advance to the regional tournament at the Convocation Center in Athens to face Vinton County!
Meadowbrook Outlasts New Philadelphia in District Semifinal, 56-44

The Colts used a dominant fourth quarter to grab a 56-44 victory over New Philadelphia! Holding a slim four-point lead heading into the final frame, Meadowbrook held the Quakers to only six points the rest of the way. Trey Singleton and Logan Wolverton combined for 29 of the Colts' points as they avenged an earlier loss to New Phila. With the win, Meadowbrook advances to the district final where the will face John Glenn!
Meadowbrook Holds Off Morgan, 65-61, in Sectional Final

Meadowbrook survived a late surge from Morgan to claim a 65-61 sectional final victory. The #2 Colts led by as many as 14 points in the 3rd but the #5 Raiders "never say die" mentality allowed them to concoct a thriller down the stretch. Meadowbrook's free throw shooting proved to be the difference maker as they went 8-9 down the stretch to advance to a District Semi vs New Philadelphia. Jordan Work had 20 points for the Raiders while Trey Singleton had 23 for the Colts.
Meadowbrook Wins OVAC 4-A Title with 81-73 Win Over Steubenville

The Colts are OVAC 4-A Champs once again after easing past Steubenville 81-73! Justin Cork and Trey Singleton stole the show, each scoring 24 points for Meadowbrook who finishes the regular season at 19-3. The Colts were a highly efficient 60% shooting from the field. They now look ahead to tourney place where they'll host West Holmes.
