Meadowbrook Holds Off Morgan, 65-61, in Sectional Final

Meadowbrook survived a late surge from Morgan to claim a 65-61 sectional final victory. The #2 Colts led by as many as 14 points in the 3rd but the #5 Raiders "never say die" mentality allowed them to concoct a thriller down the stretch. Meadowbrook's free throw shooting proved to be the difference maker as they went 8-9 down the stretch to advance to a District Semi vs New Philadelphia. Jordan Work had 20 points for the Raiders while Trey Singleton had 23 for the Colts.
Morgan Advances In Tournament After Routing Indian Creek, 57-37

Morgan started off tournament play with a statement, pummeling Indian Creek, 57-37! The Raiders buried the Redskins in three-pointers hitting 10 from behind the arc, with senior Dre Norman knocking down 5 treys en route to 25 points. Morgan advances to take on Meadowbrook this Saturday in a D-2 District Semifinal.
Morgan Sweeps Series With John Glenn, Wins 57-53

For the first time since the 2003-04 season, Morgan swept the season series with John Glenn after beating the Muskies on their senior night, 57-53. With the win, the Raiders forced a three-way tie for 2nd place in the MVL between Morgan, John Glenn and Sheridan. Morgan had 4 players reach double-digits in scoring.
Morgan Beats Athens On Senior Night, 70-60

Morgan hosted Athens on their senior night and beat the Bulldogs in a dogfight, 70-60. Athens recovered from an early double-digit deficit and trailed by 1 heading into the 4th quarter, but the Raiders went on a 15-6 run to start the period and kept Athens at bay. Up next, Morgan attempts to go for the season sweep against John Glenn.
