Lions Pounce on Panthers, 65-26, Return to District Final

Gahanna outscored Pickerington North 23-1 in the 3rd quarter to help propel them back to a District Final. Narrowly avoiding an upset the last time these two played, the Lions made a statement when it mattered most in the 65-26 win. Pick North never got comfortable as Gahanna's defense would force them into turnovers or poor shots. Nick Ward led all scorers with 16 pts. The #1 Lions will face #17 Groveport in a District Final at Ohio Dominican.
Pick North Advances to District Semis, Defeat Westerville North 59-45

Pickerington North had one of their best games of the season at the perfect time. The Panthers took to the road and knocked off Westerville North, 59-45. Leading by 4 heading into the final frame, the Panthers used a 10-1 run to put away the Warriors. Jerome Hunter, Zach Montes, and Ty Wiley all scored in double figures for the Panthers. They advance to the District Semis to play rival Gahanna.

Gahanna and Pickerington North delivered a slugfest with the Panthers’ final punch just missing as the Lions secured a 55-53 win. Nick Ward led Gahanna with 18 points while Jerome Hunter poured in 16 for the Panthers.
Groveport Denies Pickerington North's Late Surge For 53-45 win

Despite a furious second-half comeback that saw Pickerington North pull within a point of Groveport Madison, the Panthers couldn’t overcome a second quarter in which they scored just three points before heading to the locker room down 17. The Cruisers held Pick North off late for a 53-45 win, led by Lony Francis’ 17 points. Jerome Hunter led the Panthers with 12 points.
Pick Central Topples Rivals North 69-52

Pick Central got a huge road win at rival Pick North 69-52 despite a third-quarter ejection of Ibi Watson. Watson still finished with 14 points for the game and put on a show before his early exit. Fellow Tiger Jalen Tate added 14 points and helped swing the momentum after the ejection. Central (14-4, 8-2) opened things up with a 27-point fourth quarter. Zach Montes led Pick North (9-8, 6-4) with 13 points, while Khiry Shelton added 10.
