Davidson Upends Tri-Valley, 61-50

In a classic battle of (Wild)cats and Dawgs, Davidson was too much for Tri-Valley in the opening round of the tournament, winning 61-50 in Dresden. The game was tied at 24 at halftime, but the Wildcats held the Scotties to just five points in the third quarter to take the lead for good. Marcus Dempsey had a game-high 23 points for Tri-Valley.
