After surviving a double-overtime scare against rival Olentangy Orange last week 20-13, Olentangy Liberty (9-0) remains comfortably seated in third spot of the most recent Associated Press Ohio High School Football Rankings.
The Patriots have clinched the No. 1 overall seed in Division I, Region 2, as well as, at least a share of the Ohio Capital Conference Buckeye Division crown. Liberty has a road matchup against Westerville North looming in week 10 with a perfect regular season on the line.
Elsewhere in D-I, Pickerington Central is still one of Ohio's best, ranked sixth with an 8-1 record.
Hilliard Bradley (8-1) remains in the 9th spot in Division I after shutting out Worthington Kilbourne 16-0 on the road last Friday. The Jags finish their regular season hosting Hayes.
In Division III, New Philadelphia (8-1) stays planted in the 11th spot after an impressive 19-0 win on the road over Cambridge in week nine. The Quakers have won their last six games in a row, outscoring their opponents 203-31 in that span, including three shutouts. They finish up their regular season with a home game against rival Dover. The Quakers go into week 10 having clinched a playoff berth in D-III, Region 9.
