Dublin Coffman Football 2014 DVD Trailer
December 15, 2014
The 2014 Rocks were the epitome of balance in Central Ohio. Led by an offense with 4 AP All-Ohio selections (QB Gunnar Hoak, WR Kyle Marcinick, OL Evan Crabtree, RB Dre Kendrick), Coffman always lit up the scoreboard, averaging 39.5 points per game. The defense carried their weight, only allowing 14 ppg. The Rocks impressed all season long, earning a perfect 10-0 regular season, an OCC-Central championship, and wins in both the regular and postseason against rival Davidson. Coffman's dream season saw its end at the hands of state runner-up Wayne in a 44-35 slugfest. Junior QB Hoak slinged his way to 2,584 yards and 30 TDs, 18 of which went to Hoak's go-to man, Marcinick. Senior RB Kendrick bulldozed his way to 1,500+ yards and 20+ TDs. The defense was headlined by junior playmakers Isack McKinney and Griffin Grady who combined for 30+ tackles for loss, 15 sacks and 4 INTs.
Wayne Ousts Coffman in 44-35 Battle, Rocks End Season 11-1
November 19, 2014
With both Coffman and Wayne ranked among the top five teams in the final Associated Press poll, it was no surprise these teams battled it out to the end as the Warriors escaped with the 44-35 win. The game was a rematch from week 12 in 2013. Tied at 14 heading into the second half, the Rocks grabbed the lead less than 90 seconds in, only to have the Warriors score on the next play en route to a 28-0 run. Coffman junior QB Gunnar Hoak and senior WR Kyle Marcinick finished the season with impressive games to add to their resume. Marcinick snagged 206 of Hoak's 264 passing yards and all 4 touchdowns through the air. Senior RB Dre Kendrick had a strong effort as well with 171 yards and a TD. The OCC-Champion Rocks finish their season 11-1.
Coffman Pushes Past Davidson 14-10 In Defensive Battle
November 12, 2014
Undefeated Coffman was put to the test by rival Davidson in the opening round of the OHSAA Division I playoffs. Down 7-0 at halftime, Coffman evened it up late in the 3rd before a Wildcat FG early in the 4th gave them the 10-7 lead. The Rocks persevered though, as junior QB Gunnar Hoak found senior WR Kyle Marcinick on a 52-yd touchdown pass on 3rd and long to take the lead with 4:32 left in the game. Davidson drove the field swiftly, but Coffman DB Reagan Malas batted down the 'Cats last attempt in the end zone to seal the victory. The Rocks next play Wayne (10-1) Saturday, November 15th at Bellefontaine H.S. in a Regional Quarterfinal rematch from 2013. The Warriors won the previous match-up 31-10. Davidson finished the season 6-5 overall.

Coffman Fights Off UA, 20-19, Earns Perfect Regular Season
November 5, 2014
Coffman held off a furious UA comeback to take the 20-19 win and seal a perfect regular season. After Coffman QB Gunnar Hoak hooked up with senior WR CJ Saunders for a 65-yd score on the first play, the Rocks looked like they might have a convincing win. However, the Golden Bears (5-5) forced 3 turnovers to help keep them close to the OCC-Central champs, including a forced fumble at their own 1 late in the 4th. UA drove the field in 3 minutes to score, but came up shy on the 2-pt conversion. Senior RB Dre Kendrick held the statistical spotlight in the game, dashing for 168 yards and a TD for Coffman. The Rocks (10-0, 7-0) host Davidson in a rivalry rematch in Week 11. The loss ended Upper Arlington's season at 5-5.
