Coffman, Olentangy, Tri-Valley Finish In Top 4 of AP Poll

The regular season is over and the "paper" champions have been crowned. The final Associated Press Ohio State Football Poll was released Monday, November 3rd where four teams from the Oho Capital Conference finished in the top ten! 

OCC-Central Division champion Dublin Coffman narrowly defeated Upper Arlington last week 20-19 to complete the regular season undefeated. The Rocks were ranked 3rd in the final Division I poll, which is as high as they ever reached.  Unbeaten Pickerington Central was 5th the poll, Westerville Central (9-1) 9th, and Hilliard Darby (9-1) 10th. The final poll was the Panthers' first appearance of the season in the rankings. Darby ended the regular season last week with a win over rival Bradley 27-14. Their only loss was a 10-7 setback to Davidson in week twoHudson was the D-I poll champion. 

In Division II, Olentangy completed its first 10-0 regular season since 1957 to go with its equally historic OCC-Capital Divison championship. The Braves ended the regular season ranked 2nd in the final AP D-II poll. Perrysburg claimed the D-II poll championship.

In Division III, four-time MVL champion Tri-Valley climbed to 4th in the final poll, its highest ranking of the season. The Scotties finished 10-0 for just the second time in school history, while their defense led the state in points allowed with just 34. Hubbard received 16 first place votes to win the D-III poll championship. 

In Division IV, MVL runner-up Maysville (9-1) slipped to 15th despite a 34-0 win over Claymont to wrap up the regular season. Kettering Archbishop Alter finished the year in D-IV top spot.
