John Glenn Dominates Crooksville in Season Finale, 56-13

John Glenn went out in style with an emphatic 56-13 win over Crooksville in their final game of the 2016 season. QB Matthew Stewart accounted for five first-half touchdowns and proceeded to break Dave Adams' record for passing yards in a season and career yardage. Graduating just five seniors, the Muskies have high hopes to be back in league title discussion in 2017.
New Lexington Triumphs Over John Glenn 13-7 On Senior Night

New Lexington played host to cross county opponent John Glenn in an epic week 9 MVL showdown. With both teams scoring late in the second quarter to tie the first half at 7-7. The next score wouldn't come until 2:38 in the 4th when the Panthers' would punch in a run to take the lead and win over the Muskies.
John Glenn Takes Down Rival Maysville In Epic MVL Battle, 21-14

John Glenn's Shane Bonner rumbled into the end zone with 3:30 to play to lift the Muskies to a 21-14 win at Maysville. John Glenn outgained Maysville by just ten yards in one of the tightest, fiercest battles in the MVL this season. The Muskies and Panthers continue to trade wins as the teams have each won 5 against the other in the last 10 seasons.
Tri-Valley 7-0 After Beating John Glenn, 28-7

Tri-Valley's record is still unblemished after putting away John Glenn, 28-7. The first half of this game turned into a defensive slugfest, with neither team generating any offense and the first score of the game coming with 35 seconds left in the first half. After the intermission, Tri-Valley's offense started rolling en route to 353 yards for the game. The Dawgs now have to get ready for a Sheridan team that is looking to rebound from a tough loss against Philo and John Glenn has their eyes set on Maysville, who is currently on a 2 game losing streak.
