Goal Line Stand Lifts Liberty Over Upper Arlington 21-14 September 15, 2020 • The Olentangy Liberty defense secured the 21-14 win over Upper Arlington Friday night as they held the Golden Bears out of the endzone as time expired. • Upper Arlington drove the ball deep into the Patriots territory in the final seconds of the fourth quarter but failed to score as the Golden Bears fall to 1-2. • Liberty's Aidan Kenley scored all three of the Patriots touchdowns as the running back finished with 165 rushing yards in the win. For UA, Carson Gresock averaged 6.8 yards per carry, lifted by a 75-yard rushing score.

Coffman Edges Liberty In High-Profile Showdown September 9, 2020 • In arguably the most anticipated Week 2 showdown in the area, Coffman scored 24 of the game's final 27 points to edge Liberty, 24-17. • Connor Mathews was efficient, completing 13 of 15 passes and connecting with Bryon Threats and Sheron Phipps Jr. on touchdown passes of 69 and 67 yards, respectively. • Mitch Fields threw for 229 yards and a TD on 22-of-30 passing and ran for a score, Camden Barcus had 10 catches for 65 yards and Aidan Kenley churned up 96 yards on 23 totes to pace the Patriots.

Fields Throws Liberty Past Berlin In 35-21 Win September 2, 2020 • Mitch Fields threw a pair of second-half touchdown passes to send Olentangy Liberty past Olentangy Berlin 35-21. • Fields finished 17 of 22 for 233 yards with three scores. Chase Brecht caught five passes for 93 yards and a TD and Camden Barcus hauled in two touchdowns for the winners. • Austin Bird made nine tackles and Joseph Dierker collected 8.5 tackles and an interception to lead the Liberty defense.
