Dublin Scioto Basketball 2015 DVD Trailer June 8, 2015 Scioto took a big step in the 2014-15 season at returning to an OCC threat. Second-year coach Mike Moler improved the Irish to a 9-14 record finishing 5-9 in OCC-Cardinal play that included some memorable wins. The Irish defense stepped up all year helping Scioto stay in many games. The squad only allowed 50.8 PPG while holding opponents to under 50 points 9 times. The Irish season will be remembered by late-game heroics that propelled them to some OCC wins. Most notably, a buzzer beater by junior Nick Pothoven with .8 seconds left to beat Westerville Central. Scioto also had a comeback win on the road in OT against Darby. Pothoven, as well as Brandon Vertolli highlight a group of talented and experienced returners for the Irish, who look to continue the improvement next year. Three Irish players received post season honors. Senior Scott Berg was named 2nd team All-OCC Cardinal, and Honorable Mention All-Central District in Division-I. Junior Nick Pothoven was named Honorable Mention All-OCC Cardinal, and Honorable Mention All-Central District in Division-I. And senior Justin Schafer was named Scholar Athlete OCC-Cardinal. Jerome Advances Past Scioto, 50-36 March 10, 2015 For the third time this season, Scioto was unable to take down Jerome, falling 50-36. The Irish kept it close until Jerome started to sneak ahead in the third quarter. The Celtics led 34-27 heading into the fourth quarter. Brandon Vertolli led Scioto with 14 points as the Irish finished their 14-15 campaign at 9-14 (5-9).

Scioto Drops Darby, 52-42 February 18, 2015 Nick Pothoven led Scioto over Darby 52-42 . The Irish jumped out to a 15-11 after one quarter. The Panthers kept the game within grasp through 3 and a half quarters, but the Irish prevailed down the stretch to secure the victory.

Bradley Earns 66-58 Win Over Scioto on Senior Night February 18, 2015 On a night honoring the Bradley seniors, it was only fitting that senior Jackson Murphy paved the way for the Jags' 66-58 win with 22 points. Scioto (9-12, 5-8) proved to be up for the challenge of spoiler role, leading Bradley (16-4, 10-3) at half 29-28. The OCC-Cardinal foes traded blows until early in the 4th when the Jaguars busted off a 10-2 run to help seize the victory. Senior Justin Schafer had 15 in the loss for the Irish.
