Senior Brandon Vertolli finished his career as one of the Irish's most prolific scorers ever while fellow senior Jackie Winchester earned Honorable Mention All-Central District. Moler was tabbed as Coach of the Year in the Central District for helping lead this great group to a 15-win season
Mifflin Stuns Scioto in OT, 71-68

Scioto’s season came to an end at the hands of Mifflin, in a 71-68 overtime loss. Bahati Haralson hit two free throws with 6.5 seconds to go in OT for the Punchers, and Jackie Winchester’s 3-pointer at buzzer was off the mark. Brandon Vertolli led all scorers with 22 points and Winchester added 17. The Irish finished the season with a 15-9 record, their best campaign in four years.
Scioto Advances in Sectional Tourney, Takes Down Hayes 57-49

Irish snatch thier first home playoff victory in 12 years after taking down Hayes 57-49 in the opening round of tournament play. Scioto never closed the door on the Pacers, leading 27-15 at half, Hayes continued to pressure the Irish to stay ahead. Junior Noah Brechbuhler had a game-high 19 points. Scioto hosts another tournament challenge with #19 Mifflin Tuesday at 7pm!
Orange Spoils Scioto's Senior Night

Olentangy Orange spoiled Dublin Scioto's senior night with a dramatic 60-58 overtime victory. The Irish trailed by double digits in the first half, but fought back to force the OT. Manny Anderson led the Pioneers with 20 points and hit the game-winning basket with four seconds remaining. Three Scioto players reached double figures, with Brandon Vertolli and Jacob Jones putting 16 apiece, and Jackie Winchester adding 12.
Scioto Wins 8th Straight After Beating Thomas Worthington, 46-44

Scioto earned their 8th straight win after beating Thomas Worthington in a close one, 46-44. The Irish overcame a sluggish 2nd quarter where they only scored 3 points to shoot 61% from behind the arc and dominated the Cardinals on the boards. Up next, Scioto faces a stiff challenge against Bradley, who has clinched the OCC-Cardinal.
