Pickerington North Football 2014 DVD Trailer December 7, 2014 In a season of wondering what could have been, Pickerington North fought their way to a 4-6 record in 2014. With season-ending injuries to the team's starting QB, RB, and multiple defensive starters, the Panthers showed character and grit, consistently putting themselves just a play away from a win in multiple games. With arguably the toughest non-conference schedule in Ohio, the Panthers had showcase games versus reigning state champions Archbishop Moeller and Brother Rice (MI). Freshman QB Jimmy Weirick led the team's offensive efforts with 1,118 passing yards, 627 rushing yards, and 15 total touchdowns. Senior DL and captain Kyle Beemiller (special mention AP All-Ohio) tallied 4.5 sacks and 15 tackles for loss to lead the defense.

Hoak, Slade Lead All-Central District Selections November 11, 2014 Dublin Coffman QB Gunnar Hoak and Olentangy DE Connor Slade both claimed Player of the Year honors in the Central District after leading their teams to undefeated regular seasons. Pick North Outlasts Grove City, Closes Season With 13-9 Win November 5, 2014 Pickerington North squeaked past hosting Grove City, 13-9, to close out the year winning three of their last four games. A rainy affair, neither team could gather much momentum throughout the game, displaying spurts of strong play. After Grove City took a 3-0 lead early in the 1st, the Panther's defense helped get them in good positions to score. Freshman QB Jimmy Weirick connected with senior WR Romaeo Whitlow just before the half to take a 7-3 lead, and again late in the 3rd for the decisive score. The Greyhounds quickly responded and had a shot in the final minute, but the Panthers picked off the Grove City QB to earn the win, 13-9. Pickerington North finished the season 4-6.

Gahanna Mounts Comeback to Stun Pick North, 27-24 October 29, 2014 In an epic OCC battle, Gahanna hit a game-winning field goal as time expired to beat Pickerington North, 27-24. Kicker Tanner Harding's 37-yard FG capped Gahanna's comeback. With less than a minute remaining, the Lions ran a trick play when Mason Blancett lateraled to Ronald Robinson, who then completed a pass to a diving Jenisys Battle. Jonathon Cooper also blocked and returned a FG for a TD to tie the game for the Lions. Gahanna (7-2, 6-0) has now won 7 straight games. Pick North (3-6, 3-3) held onto a 24-10 lead in the 2nd half, but gave up the final 17 points. Pick North WR Romaeo Whitlow had 121 yards receiving and also had an INT. Gahanna next faces Pickerington Central for the OCC Ohio title in week 10. Pick North will finish out the season at Grove City.

Pick North Notches 28-19 Win at Groveport Behind 3rd Quarter Surge October 22, 2014 Pickerington North held off a strong-willed Groveport team in a 28-19 road win. Freshman QB Jimmy Weirick continued to lead the team, tossing 2 touchdowns, while running for 64 yards and a score. Senior WR Jaye Williams' big play ability gave the Panthers two scores. The defense tallied 4 sacks to help give the Panthers their first winning streak of the season. North hosts Gahanna next on their Senior Night to play a Lions team on a 6-game winning streak.
